Spain’s First L’Occitane Spa Opens in Tenerife

Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque in Tenerife will soon be opening Spain’s very first L’Occitane-branded spa.

The luxury hotel has recently signed an agreement with French cosmetics brand L’Occitane en Provence, stating that the hotel’s current spa will be rebranded and a new treatment menu will be introduced, embracing ecologically-friendly products and practices.

The spa team at the resort is working closely with L’Occitane to create the new treatment menu, which will feature various holistic face and body treatments.

Facilities at the spa include 20 stunning treatment rooms, five outdoor treatment cabins, three thalassotherapy booths, a hammam area, sauna and an open-air sundeck.

The hotel also boasts a fantastic beauty and hairdressing salon, salt water vitality pool, health and fitness club, chi studio and a garden café.

General Director of L’Occitane en Provence – Alain Harfouche – said: “It is a real privilege and honour for us to be opening the first L’Occitane Spa in Spain at the prestigious Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque. The uniqueness of the spa’s facilities, the professionalism of the team and the special attention paid by the hotel management to environmental issues have been key elements in the signing of the agreement”.
