New Parrot Show at Loro Parque
Loro Parque – one of the greatest zoos and environmental centres in the world – continues to expand its range of fantastic leisure activities with a brand new parrot show.
The premier was held exactly 40 years after the original was first shown. Marcos Brito Mayor of Puerto de la Cruz accompanied the president of Loro Parque – Wolfgang Kiessling – the coaching staff and the park’s animal carers to the show.
Over 400 members of the public were also invited to see the colourful birds majestically gliding through the air.
The parrot show is designed to remind the public of the need to preserve the rainforests and encourage the young and old to find out more about the intelligence and beauty of the many species of parrots who serve as the ambassadors of Loro Parque.
Special effects, impressive architecture and unbelievable skill and talent are the basis of the show which features over 30 parrots from all corners of the world.
