Ever changing performances include a broad range of concerts, plays, recitals and ballets.
The Auditorio de Tenerife - the work of architect Santiago Caltrava - can be classified as late modern architecture from the end of the twentieth century.
The building is composed of a succession of platforms, overshadowed by the enormous curved volume of the main hall - the heart of the building both formally and structurally. The 50m high overhanging roof gives the impression of an animal-like movement and flexibility.
