Shopping in Tenerife

Tenerife is a duty free area so tobacco, wines, spirits and perfumes are much cheaper than in other EU countries.
Several shopping centres have sprung up across the island including the popular Corté Ingles department store in Santa Cruz. Similarly large stores include Carrefour just off the TF-1 motorway, Continente next to the TF-5.

Shopping in the South

In the south, apart from the usual plethora of souvenirs and electrical goods, local crafts such as pottery, embroidery and volcanic sculptures are common in Los Cristianos and in the El Duque Commercial Centre in Costa Adeje.
The best shopping in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is found in Villalba Hervás, Calle del Castillo, Bethencourt Alfonso and San José, Plaza de España and Plaza de la Canelaria.

International Fashion

International and national fashion can be bought in the Santa Cruz boutiques of Calle del Castillo, Rambla de Pulido, or between Calle Jesús Nazareno and Calle
Sabino Berhelot.
Meanwhile in La Laguna, the most interesting shops
are in the old town centre.
