Einzigartig sind die schwarzen, mit vulkanischem Sand gefüllten Bunker. Das Klima ist äußert angenehm mit sehr wenigen Regentagen, im Sommer weht häufig ein stärkerer Wind.
Eine Herausforderung für den Golfer besteht darin, seinen Schlag mit dem Wind genau zu berechnen. Folgende Einrichtungen stehen dem Golfer zur Verfügung: Clubhaus mit Bar, Restaurant, Geschäft, Tennis, Übungsplatz, Golfschule.

The Links course at Golf Del Sur has just been upgraded. Played it last week. It's now 2 shots longer, but much harder (no it's probably as difficult as the south course). The main changes are the par 3 2nd holes tees off across the road (making it a 4-5 iron), the 3rd now has the quarry area filled with water to pile the pressure on the T shot. The 4th is now completly changed and 1 shot longer with water coming into play on the left. The 5th is also a shot longer (par 4) and tees off very high . The second shot is now where the old Tee box used to be with the dip to the right of the green now bunker!
The only other change is the 8th which is now no longer a safe drive tahat may make the green as the dip just before is all bunker too! Have fun, it's excellent now.

I play golf del sur most weekends and really enjoy it. They've done a lot of work on the tunnels under the road now and one of the holes on the North is really quite short as a result. The Links is as enjoyable as ever.
