Bahia Princess

Got a last minute Thomson Platinum Choice holiday (any 1 of 3 named hotels) due to a last minute hiccup, was allocated the Bahia Princess on arrival in Tenerife. Arrived at the Hotel the early hours of the morning with my Wife and 2 children 16 & 12, the reception staff were friendly & helpful. Hotel & rooms were excellent. As we found with reception, ALL the staff were friendly, helpful & efficient (nothing was too much trouble). Plenty of choice in the restaurant, even the youngest daughter who is a vegetarian was happy with the choices, the On Show cooking was a nice touch. Entertainment during the day and evening was good and well organised. Hotel has 3 pools so no problem with swimming or playing games. There are lots of steps to the main pool & restaurants but if you can't face these there are lifts. The nearby beach was well used during our holiday and was never overcrowded, the black sand gets really hot so sandals are a necessity. The marina is worth a look if you want to book any excursions. also plenty of nearby bars & restaurants and, due to lots of competition prices were good. Same with the shops, lots of choice. Did intend to do a couple of excursions but ran out of time. Normally after a week away we have had enough and are ready to get back home, but we would happily stay at the Bahia Princess for longer. Can definitely recommend the Bahia Princess for either families or couples. Would definitely return again.
