World class flamenco dancer María Pagés is set to bring her spectacular "Seville Flamenco Republic" extravaganza to the Tenerife Auditorium in Santa Cruz on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March.
María holds a privileged place in the dance world. Known as "the dancer with endless arms", this internationally renowned performer and her company will astound and amaze with a dynamic, breath-taking performance of fusion flamenco. This highly emotive dance style is full of grace and energy and requires incredible precision and rhythm to convey the desired emotions; passion, joy, sadness, rigor, elegance, nostalgia and irony.
Her latest show is backed by Soviet-born dancer and choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov, who has invited Maria to dance at the Baryshnikov Arts Center and to further develop a very interesting creative project for the future.
