Tenerife is called the island of eternal spring because of its balanced climate conditions throughout the year.

Tenerife Climate

During the cooler days of the winter the temperature doesn't fall below 15 C and rarely gets higher than 30 C in the height of the summer.
Tenerife - besides having very localized weather - at times can have three distinct weather zones.
The southern part including Playa de las Americas being drier and warmer than the north.
The northern part is greener, wetter and often cooler - Puerto de la Cruz.
Spains highest mountain "El Teide" is the third climate, which of course at higher altitudes can be cooler (winter).
If you fancy seeing some snow then take a trip up to Mount Teide, which is often covered in snow during the winter months, then take a drive down to the beach for a swim in the sea and enjoy temperatures of about 22C.

When you're packing for your holiday in Tenerife just remember to pack all different sorts of clothing, you may need a jumper and a jacket in the north or on the mountain, but you will definitely need your swimming costumes and shorts in the south!
