Flashpoint is definitely one of the coolest bars in Tenerife. Located at the far end of the promenade to the west end of the town the bar is perfectly placed catch some rays while watching some funky stunts performed by the El Medano wind and kite surf brigade.
With a view of Montana Roja to the right and the vast open bay in front, this German bar provides one of the most chilled-out experiences in Tenerife.
You can also wander next door to the Canarian Fruit Shop and buy some great clothes to make you fit in with the local surf scene.

I am currently residing in El Medano and find the Flash Point a home from home. It is busiest during the day, serving good cheap food to the surfers and locals that hang out at the far end of the beach. Being away from the busy town square it provides relief from the often crowded and noisy El Medano centre and gives exactly the feeling that a beach bar should. Cool Music, sun, sand, a great view and a few cold beers will leave you relaxed and smiling. In addition to the daytime benefits it also comes alive in the evening. Not so busy but full of atmosphere, the clientele are always kind and friendly. Mixing candlelight and great tunes, it^s the perfect place to watch the clouds turn pink, listen to the sea and wind down.
