Tenerife is planning to host a golf tournament for novices - the Tenerife Golf Trophy.
This competition is designed to offer a fun and informal experience for amateur golfers across three championship courses - Golf Costa Adeje, Golf Las Americas and Abama Golf.
Tenerife Golf Trophy will run from April 21st to 28th and is expected to attract people from all over Europe, according to the local tourist board.
Those interested in participating need to book a special package which includes a seven-night stay at one of the tournament's participating hotels, three green fees, transfer to the courses and a closing gala dinner.
The Sheraton Caleta, Iberostar Anthelia and Hotel Jardin Tropical are all offering fantastic accommodation for golfers taking part in the competition, as well as the Arona Gran Hotel, Sandos San Blas Hotel and the Compostela Beach Apartments.
There are separate packages available for partners and travel companions who do not wish to take part in the tournament.
