Low cost airline, Ryanair, is delighted to announce a new route between Tenerife and Milan, Italy.
The service commences 3rd May 2010 from Tenerife South Airport to Bergamo, approximately 45km from Milan. The service will initially operate twice a week on Mondays and Saturdays. The Monday flight departs Tenerife South at 18.25 hrs, arriving in Milan at 23.55 hrs. On Saturdays the flight departs Tenerife South at 14.10 hrs, arriving in Milan at 19.40 hrs. The initial price of a return ticket is €39.99 in early May, rising to €70.00 at the end of the month.
The tourist industry has welcomed this move as there hasn't been a direct connection between Tenerife and Italy since Binter closed this route several years ago.
Once the new service launches, Ryanair will be flying to 19 destinations from Tenerife South Airport, including the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany and Portugal.
