On Friday 5th March the Arona Carnival starts in Los Cristianos with the theme "Viva Mexico". From 8.00 pm the nomination of the 2010 Carnival Queen takes place, outside the Cultural Centre at the Plaza del Pescador.
Wednesday 10th at 6.30 pm sees the Dance of the Carnival of the Third Age with music from "Trio chord". This will be held at the fairground near the Valdes Centre.
On Thursday 11th at 8.30 pm is the Gala election of the children's Carnaval Queen, at the fairground.
On Saturday 13th there's a carnival make-up and masks workshop at the Plaza del Pescador and later at 7.00 pm the Carnival parade will commence from the Cultural Centre, finishing at Los Cristianos beach. At 11.00 pm there will be dancing to the sounds of "Sensación Gomera" at the fairground.
At 5.00 pm on Sunday 14th there will be the Gran Coso Apotheosis of Carnival 2010. The parade starts at the Paloma Beach apartments on Avenida Juan Carol I and terminates at the fairground with dancing to "Wamampy" to conclude.
