The Swallows Art Exhibition is a local, annual event and this year is scheduled to be held in February at the Swedish Church on the sea front in Los Cristianos.
Last year's event was very successful and organisers are hopeful that the 2010 exhibition will receive the same support. The artists are delighted to be returning to the Swedish Church, having enjoyed success at several other venues over the years.
The group meet every Thursday and venture out to a different location to capture on canvas the breathtaking beauty and vibrant colours of Tenerife's stunning beaches, fabulous flowers and fauna, landscapes and charming villages.
The paintings on display are pieces of work created throughout the year and are a combination of water colours, acrylics and oils.
Entry to the event is free and exhibits are available to purchase. The dates and opening times are as follows:
Saturday 20th - 10 am to 1 pm and 2pm to 6 pm
Monday 22nd and Friday 26th - 10 am to 1pm
Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th - 10 am to 1pm and 4 pm to 7 pm
Saturday 27th - 10 am to 1 pm
