Rebecca wins Tenerife Ladies Open

Rebecca Hudson is the new Champion of the Tenerife Ladies Open which was held on Sunday at Golf Costa Adeje.
The Doncaster born winner was in a sudden death playoff with France's Ann-Lise Caudal who won the tournament in Portugal a week earlier.
Finishing at 10 under par 278 in total Rebecca came back from a shot behind Ann-Lise with only 1 hole to play and claimed the coveted title with a first prize of 45000 Euros.
This was Rebecca's second individual Ladies European Tour title. Her first title was back in 2006 in Hungary. She was also part of the team who won The European cup in Spain back in April this year.
The next event for Rebecca will be The Oxfordshire Ladies English Open which will be held from the 4th to the 6th of July at The Oxfordshire Golf Club in Thame.
Rebecca was 11 years old the first time she stepped onto a golf course. By the time she was 15 she had represented England Girls and within 4 years of picking up a golf club she was playing off +4. A truly determined lady success and honours soon followed and have continued throughout her career to this day.
