The opening parade - which begins at Avenida Francisco and ends at CC Gala in Playa de las Americas - will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at 7pm.
This will be followed by the main parade on Sunday, March 11th at 5pm from Paloma Beach through Avenida Juan Carlos I to the fairground area. As is tradition, the carnival dance will be held after the Sunday parade, with music from Orchestra Wamampy.
The Burial of the Sardine will take place on Monday, March 12th at 8pm, followed by a fiesta in the fairground.
The main Carnival Queen competition will be held outside the Los Cristianos Cultural Centre on Friday March 9th at 9.30pm. If you think you stand a good chance of winning, why not register for the competition?
All you need to do is download the application form from the Arona website or request it via email from festejos@arona.org and hand it in to one of the citizen's advice offices located in Arona, Las Galletas and Los Cristianos before February 9th.
