Legendary British club DJ Brandon Block is set to play Tenerife on Thursday 9th September. The event - Sintillate's Sunset Beach Party, starts at the Monkey Beach Bar at 9pm, with Audio Kartel, until 12.30am. The party then moves to TIBU, Tenerife's exclusive VIP club, until 6am.
Brandon, who hails from London's East End, began his career at the John Lion pub in Harrow back in 1985. After the resident DJ failed to show up one night, he and his DJ partner impressed bosses with their own set. There was no looking back, and Brandon took up his first UK club residency at a nightclub called ZigZag at the Broadway Boulevard in Ealing, West London, in 1988.
Clubbers will remember him at venues including Godskitchen UK/Ibiza, Gatecrasher and Passion, Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Miss Moneypenny's, Republica, Progress, Karanga and Colours. He was once of the first DJs in Dubai and still plays there three times a year. Other destinations include Marbella, BCM Mallorca, Hong Kong and Koh Samui. He is known as somewhat of a legend in Ibiza, for helping establish its legacy as clubbing capital.
