Superstar Gloria Estefan brings her Latin Fiesta to Tenerife
Cuban born Miami singer Gloria Estefan will debut in Tenerife on the 19th of September. She will be appearing at the Centro Insular de Atletismo in La Laguna.
At 51 Gloria still holds her crown as the Latin queen of pop. She will be accompanied by The Miami sound machine, together they will be playing some of the hits from the 80s that made them a household name like "anything for you" and "turn the beat around". Gloria will also take this opportunity to promote her latest album 900 millas.
Produced by her husband Emilio Estefan, the Tenerife show is part of her European tour. So far the tour has visited Valencia, Zaragoza, Madrid, Barcelona, Rotterdam, London and Belfast.
Gloria has sold over 79million albums worldwide and has won 5 Grammy awards in a career spanning over 20 years.
Her career took off when Emilio Estefan heard her singing at a Cuban wedding and asked her to join his band. The rest is history, romance, with Gloria and Emilio falling in love and marrying along with international musical success with their band the Miami Sound Machine and with Gloria's solo career.
