2008 Tenerife Ladies Open to be held at Golf Costa Adeje
Fans of the ladies European tour will be able to see their favourite golfers at The Tenerife Ladies Open which tees off from the 19th to the 22nd of June at Golf Costa Adeje.
The tournament is now in its 7th year which coincides with the 10th anniversary of Costa Adeje golf club.
One of the most sought after prizes on the Ladies European golfing calendar the winners reward apart from the title of course is 300,000 Euros which is 100,000 more than the Portuguese open.
Last years winner Nikki Garrett will be defending the title she won when the tournament was held at Golf Del Sur last year. With her prize money she is reported to have bought a house back home in her native Australia.
Golf Costa Adeje, situated just five kilometres from Playa de las Américas, is fast becoming one of the major sports and leisure complexes in the Canary Islands and with its spectacular mountain and sea views is a flagship course in Tenerife.
